At the beginning of August 2017, Tarek Al-Wazir, Hesse’s Minister of Economics, visited us at the TechQuartier. A good opportunity for FinTechs and the state government to talk about disruptive solutions in the financial sector. Al-Wazir promised support in the acquisition of new employees and in increasing the attractiveness of the Rhine-Main area, “Frankfurt must also become a leading location for highly innovative FinTechs”. On the capital side, in particular, Al-Wazir considers the Rhine-Main area to be well established, but sees further potential in the external representation for recruiting further specialists, which EXCON CEO Benjamin Hermanns and others present all confirmed.
Find out more about Economics Minister Al-Wazir and Excon Information Management.
