Germany's leading low-code banking platform provider underlines its growth strategy and expands its management team with an experienced industry expert.
Frankfurt, January 03, 2022
At the beginning of the year, fintus GmbH expands its management team with a seasoned expert from the banking and finance industry. The company is thereby laying another important foundation stone for its growth strategy and the expansion of its innovative low-code banking platform. Since the 1st of January, Patrick Schüler as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) has joined the four-member management team of the Frankfurt-based fintech.
Benjamin Hermanns, CEO and founder of fintus GmbH, explains: “We are delighted to have acquired an experienced expert in Patrick. This is not only expanding our management team but also puts us in an optimal position for our future growth.”
Patrick Schüler, coming from a well-known investment banking boutique and with a background in Large Cap M&A and Transaction Advisory, joins the fintus management team as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Head of M&A. Patrick is not only responsible for the world of numbers, but also contributes his strategic expertise to the international expansion of fintus. His focus is on both organic scaling and an opportunistic buy-and-build strategy. Even before his start as CFO and Head of M&A, Patrick got to know fintus very well. In 2021, as Vice President of the retained investment banking, Patrick advised on the successful search for a strategic partner for future growth and AnaCap’s subsequent majority stake investment in the Frankfurt-based fintech. “I am very excited to be part of such an exciting company and to successfully set up fintus in the fields of finance and M&A”, Patrick comments on his start at fintus.
A total of six new colleagues start at the beginning of the year in the fintus team. In addition, the company expanded its development capacities with a new development team at a new location in Cluj/Romania. For 2022, the company is planning further organic growth to more than 80 colleagues at the three European locations in Frankfurt, Sofia and Cluj and is setting all signs on “growth”.
